Is Email Marketing Still Worth It?
Ok, I’m not even going to beat around the bush here and I’ll just answer this question straight out - yes it is.
Now, I may have lost some of you already who are totally fine with that answer and don’t need any more proof. If that’s you, thanks for reading this far and keep rocking your email marketing campaigns.

73% of Millennials prefer communications from businesses to come via email - That’s a huge portion of the generation having this particular preference. With Millennials making up the population of 22-37 year olds, this generation has some huge buying power and is started to come into some serious disposable income. Chances are at least a portion, if not a majority of Millennials are in your current target market. And if they’re not, as they age they soon will be.
More the 50% of U.S. respondents check their personal email at least 10x a day - Think about your own email habits. Since the introduction of smart phones, we now have constant access to our email accounts. It’s time to grab people’s attention where it is, and with email becoming a primary for of community, it means we’re in our account more than ever.
For every $1 spent, email marketing generates a $44 ROI - That’s right, not only is email marketing SUPER cost effective (way cheaper than direct mail), but studies have shown that it can have a MASSIVE ROI. With little investment you can quickly start seeing more traffic and sales - what other marketing strategy can boast results like that?
Those that use junk mail or segmented inboxes as an excuse to not do it, are missing out on some serious sales potential for their business. Have open rates gone down since email first came on the scene? Or course. But that just means we have to be more creative with our content and subject lines. The bottom line is, that email marketing isn’t going anywhere, and it is still a cost effective and efficient way to grow your business, no matter what industry you’re in.
